Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using The Dabba mobile application and services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

The Dabba provides a meal subscription and delivery service offering authentic Gujarati home-style meals. Our services include:

• Daily meal preparation and delivery
• Weekly and monthly subscription plans
• Meal skipping with wallet credit
• Real-time delivery tracking

User Accounts

To use our Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Subscription and Payments

Subscription Plans

We offer weekly and monthly subscription plans. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Pricing

All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change prices with reasonable notice to subscribers.

Meal Skipping

You may skip scheduled meals up to 6 hours before the delivery time. Skipped meals will be credited to your wallet at the rate specified in the app. Wallet credits can only be used for future meal purchases and are non-refundable.

Delivery

We deliver meals between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM, Monday through Saturday, to addresses within our service area. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate delivery address and contact information
• Being available to receive deliveries or providing safe delivery instructions
• Notifying us of any delivery issues within 2 hours of scheduled delivery

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app. Upon cancellation:

• You will continue to receive meals until the end of your current billing period
• Unused wallet credits will remain available if you resubscribe within 6 months
• Refunds for unused subscription days are handled on a case-by-case basis

Food Safety and Allergies

While we take great care in preparing our meals, please note:

• Our kitchen handles common allergens including nuts, dairy, and wheat
• We cannot guarantee allergen-free meals
• You are responsible for informing us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions
• Meals should be consumed within 2 hours of delivery or refrigerated immediately

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Dabba shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
